For today’s entry I’m going to make another shout out. Aether Luminiferous is a YouTube channel featuring some rather funny videos about science and ‘magic’ (or deception, I suppose, would be a better word). Videos include ‘How to Win at Poker’ (which shows that it is possible to win every time at poker) ‘Pineapple Sun’ (which explains why the sun is hot) and ‘Schrödinger’s Rabbit’ (featuring an enactment and explanation of Schrödinger’s Cat). Anybody even slightly interested in science should watch these videos as they’re pretty good and accessible even to those with little scientific knowledge (like myself, well, that is if you discount Cs and Ds at GCSE level).
